| The AED Development Fellows Program provides professional experience to the next generation of development leaders. Accomplished U.S. students and individuals between academic programs with diverse technical skills now have the opportunity to compete for work in AED development project offices around the world. Fellows will be placed in selected AED projects in all world regions and, later, with AED partners, including local NGOs. Read General Program Details on the AED Development Fellows Program.
Project Spotlight: Equatorial Guinea Education Project The Equatorial Guinea Education Project is seeking strong Development Fellow candidates. This project aims to transform Equatorial Guinea's education system, focusing on primary education, and to provide children and youth with the skills needed to succeed. Over the next few years, hundreds of teachers will be trained, active learning materials will be distributed and modern instructional methods will be developed and adapted by local education professionals to meet school needs. This placement will offer a development fellow exposure to the development of an active learning program, refurbishment of forty model primary schools, creation of an accelerated teacher certification program, two national quality teaching laboratories in existing teacher development colleges, conducting a policy planning forum, and establishment an education information system.
